In February 2023, Christina Hsu joined visionary leaders, including Mr. Jim Chen, Ms. Theresa Lee, and Mr. Tai-Ding Woo, to establish the Top-Notch Educational Group. This nonprofit public benefit corporation oversees and nurtures public charter schools, educational programs, and enrichment summer camps. With a mission to bring positive change to the world of learning, Top-Notch Educational Group is a beacon of hope for students and educators alike.


Executive Director
Christina Hsu is a trailblazer in California's education sector with a wealth of experience and credentials. Her work in Mandarin dual language immersion has transformed language learning in Southern California's public schools, and her advocacy has led to legislative change. With a Master of Bilingual Education and Multiple Subject and administrative Credentials, Christina champions continual learning and emphasizes the importance of bilingual education and early STEAM education. As the head of the Top Notch Educational Group, she is dedicated to creating bilingual, culturally aware graduates with technology and critical thinking skills equipped to thrive in a globalized world.

Board Members
Mr. Jim Chen is a successful California Real Estate Broker with a Master's in Material Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has also served as the President of Extreme Power Supply in Taiwan and a Field Engineer at Power Machine. Besides his professional achievements, Mr. is deeply engaged in community service. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Confucius Chinese Language School in Walnut, CA, and the Together Against Crime Foundation in East San Gabriel Valley, CA.
Ms. Theresa Lee is a highly accomplished individual who dedicated her life to serving the community. With a degree in Biology from USC, she founded a successful custom broker company that specializes in freight forwarding. Ms. Lee is also an active member of various associations, including the Foreign Trade Association and the National Customs Brokers & Forward Association of America. She currently serves as the President of the Walnut Valley Water District Board and is involved in several committees and organizations that promote the community's welfare.
Mr. Tai-Din Woo is a highly accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in computer science and satellite technology management. He has worked as a software engineer, network system manager, and director of software development, design, and implementation. After retiring from his career, Mr. Woo has dedicated his time and energy to community service and currently serves as the vice principal at Walnut Confucius Chinese Language School.
